High School seniors at Lebanon County high schools who are planning to continue their education at a
post secondary two or four year college, are invited to apply for one of three $500 scholarships
sponsored by the Lebanon County Association of REALTORS®, according to Mary Rakow, Association
Executive Officer. "Students are asked to write an essay on Why You Should Use A REALTOR® When
Buying or Selling Your Home", says Rakow.
Applicants are asked to limit their essays to 500 words.
Rules for the scholarship application are provided to the Guidance Offices of every high school in the
county, or can be printed using the links below. Deadline for applications is Friday, March 26, 2010,
with winners being announced in April.
"We, at the Lebanon County Association of REALTORS®, feel that the essay basis for the scholarships
is an important means of stimulating students' thoughts about the many services REALTORS® provide
to buyers and sellers to help them make educated and informed decisions regarding one of the most
important investments in their lives", concluded Rakow. This is the fourteenth year the Lebanon County
Association of REALTORS® will offer the scholarship award program.
